I grew up in Central Illinois surrounded by sprawling landscapes rich in earth tones and textures. It was here that I learned the harmony of nature and its inhabitants, and with that, the design values of simplicity and integrity. Although there are no straight lines in nature, it taught me there is an elegant organic order to everything.

I studied painting and conceptual art at the University of Illinois and finished my degree in Florence Italy. Growing up in a small town, I have always been curious and my path led me to Chicago. A city steeped in culture, art, and architecture. It was there, over 35 years ago, that I began my design career. Being forever curious, I draw from a world of inspiration fueled by travel, culture, food, and art. I strive to bring an eclectic, inviting, yet curated style to my work, creating transformative results for my residential and commercial clients.
